37th Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger

Despite this year’s 37th Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger going virtual, many Friendship Service Center teams such as the Okay Industries, Beauty is Healthy, South Church and the Lions Club stepped up to the plate to make this fundraiser a success despite COVID 19. Each of the participants either selected their own 1.5-mile course to walk or donated during the week of September 13 - 19 and collectively raised over $10,000. We are so grateful for the dedication and commitment our teams show to the Friendship Center and serving the needs of the hungry in the Greater New Britain area. It is a win-win for Foodshare and our community.
